Tease collection by Bonce Salons

This stunning Tease collection from Donna Mitchell, Creative Director at Bonce Salons was inspired by her love of 1940’s glamour and pin up girls from that era, especially the beautiful Dita Von Teese. Donna is totally enthused by gorgeously dressed hair, and wanted to put her own signature mark on this era by giving it a modern twist.

Donna collated her ideas for the shoot by putting thought to paper, before creating a mood board with different with fabrics, colours and make-up ideas. She then set up a meeting with the photographer, make-up artist and stylist, and provided them with her full brief for the shoot. This was an opportunity to brainstorm ideas together, ahead of the shoot.

Donna Mitchell says “this Tease collection displays real 1940’s and 1950’s glamour. My inspiration for the collection came from burlesque, the gorgeous Dita Von Teese and Marilyn Monroe. My main aim with Tease was to show beautiful hair of an era which has passed. I’m thrilled with the collection images that we managed to capture on the day of the shoot. All key members of the team worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect which hopefully comes through within these amazing images. All looks within the collection are simple but stylish, very easy to wear and most of all, on trend.”
